Shanghai Yu-Life Toastmasters Club Meetings #386

This is our first meeting in 2022, and it is also the first meeting by our new club officers.

SAA@Wing leads the group in a very challenging warm-up game. People discuss and laugh together. This is the meaning of having an SAA.

President@吴中 uses his natural style to give a welcome and introduction speech to all the audience. Meeting is ready in a relaxed atomosphere.

Our glamorous TMD@Coco once again hosts the meeting in a very easy way. Listening to her voice is like that we should pay attention to the stage, to the next speaker, and to the content. Looking at her smile is like that we are accepted, we are encouraged, and we are communicated. TMD is the soul to the meeting.

The sharing session is from our IPP@xws. The actual meaning of Free Sofware is not about price but about freedom, and this makes all the audience think about the value of having control of their own computing. The examples of Free Software can help people in their daily work. Thiis a great topic and almost everyone can try to tell some stories on the stage, some grateful, some ceremonious, and some nastalgic. The questions are well prepared and very fluent.

Our president@吴中 and VPE@Justus delivered two prepared speeches. This is a demo for the other club members. Their speech style and Pathways project may be different, but as long as they keep on working they confidence will show.

GE@Jim leads the evaluation team Timer@Wing, Ah-Counter@Emma, and Grammarian@Lisa. Their observation in the meeting makes the whole time valuable and colorful. The shining points keep us in good mood, and the suggestions push us forward.

This meeting is a wonderful start for 2022.
