Shanghai Yu-Life Toastmasters Club Meetings #388

As the last meeting before the Spring Festival, we see many very excited meeting participants.

We organize the meeting summary by comments from our club members. You can clearly feel the beating hearts between the lines.

From a prepared speech speaker @Wing:

For my prepared speech, on one hand I felt "guilty" that I delivered speech with script. I should practice more before delivering a speech. On the another hand, I really appreciate my IE @Coco who noticed my relaxation on the stage and gave constructive ideas to me. Today I was impressed by @Lisa who shared her journey with Toastmasters as her Ice Breaker speech.

From another prepared speaker @Lisa:

New guest @Joker from college spoke pure English, and his pronunciation is native. Another boy @Sam from high school demonstrated skillfully on the stage. Let us feel their youthful spirit.

Yet from the third prepared speaker, our club president @Wuzhong:

Today the sharing master @xws shared the storyshared the story of the history of free software. Especially “GNU” impressed me not only with the animal name but also the symbol of the software. Together with the Table Topics session hosted by @Peter about the relationship between health and smoking, drinking, sports… wide range covering for all aspects of our lives.

From our kind-hearted member @Coco:

@Wuzhong's speech impressed me a lot. From his well organised and fluent talk, we can tell that he prepared very well. He shows his confidence with open and proper gestures. The speech content is full of inspiration that could be regarded as a sharing from a very experienced leader with various culture background. If he gives this speech in the competition, it could be an outstanding one.
