Shanghai Yu-Life Toastmasters Club Meetings #430

This is our first meeting after the Spring Festival - almost 3 weeks passed. We have a joint meeting with our sister club - Xinzhuang CAAS TMC. The meeting is held off-line in CAAS' venue: a beatiful bar.

SAA@xws welcomes all the meeting attendees on this wonderful sunny Saturday Afternoon. The warmup game is about making sounds of wind and rain for spring.

Two Presidents @Victor from CAAS and @Joker from Yu-Life delivers the Joint opening address like double comic show. People are excited.

TMD@Jim from CAAS welcomes members and guests - we have many guests. He introduces the meeting agenda and promise to give every one a chance on the stage - great encouragement.

TTM@Judy from CAAS is a experienced question master. Her gentle voice calms each speaker on the stage - no matter a member or a guest. The spring topics are very related to our thought from last year to this year. Many impromptu speeches talk about people and good experience in spring with hopes.

TTE@Calin from Yu-life gives detailed evaluation for the Table Topics Master and each speakers. Her voice and smile wins many applauses from the audience.

We have four prepared speeches - 3 from Yu-Life and 1 from CAAS. @Joker from Yu-Life presents an standing comedy about his name. Very humorous with a lot of gestures and facial expresses. @Agenla from CAAS speaks about how to lead an effective conversation. She uses many dialogues in the speech, vividly demonstrates the core idea of conversation. @Emma Zheng from Yu-Life talks about her own experience in her family with her parents. It makes the audience think about many things. @Bell from Yu-Life tells us her uneasy road to art study. We all are happy that she finally enjoys arts.

@Four IEs: Scarlet, 老獬, Victor, Jacky give very encouraging and constructive evaluation to the speakers. They not only point out the shining points using examples but also let the speakers know that what could be done better in the next level. They know that Toastmaster clubs are places for positive ans supportive learning.

@Peter from Yu-Life acts as GE and leads the evaluation . Timer@Emma from CAAS: dare to ring the bell many time to give the stop signal. Grammarian@Phoebe from CAAS: sweet voice, very detailed grammar report, good listener. Ah-Counter@Lanlan from Yu-Life: use a live demo to teach us some tips in avoid filler words in our speeches, great report.
