Shanghai Yu-Life Toastmasters Club Meetings #449

It is raining and hot outside, and people are entertaining in our meeting.

We have many new guests this time. Some are old friends, like Michael, Vikki, Sophie, Phoebe and Spirit. Some are new friends, like Aya, Maggie, and Alex. It is always good to see friends in our club.

SAA@Joker leads the Ice Breaker game - somebody says. Everybody gets warmed up, and meeting is ready.

Our President@Henry introduces Toastmasters International and Yu-Life club professionally by mentioning the history, value and club slogan. Finally, he announces the meeting is open.

TMD@Carol comes to the stage with big smile. She clearly shows the meeting agenda and invite our general evaluator@Peter onto the stage.

Peter has three VIPs: Timer@Maggie, Phoebe@Grammarian, and Michael@Ah-Counter. They all give due diligent meeting rules breif.

TTM@Henry holds the summer time topic - clear timing. Nine people give impromptu speeches based on TTM's questions. They either show their love of family time, or take their favorite fruit, or extend their feeling from summer to more deep thoughts.

We have one prepared speech: Where comes my energy? Our IPP@Joker once again demonstrates his excellent talent in public speaking. He opens the speech by vividly mimic a tough moment in one of his classes. He develops the key message - keep energetic - using several personal stories. The strong ending calls resonation between the audience. Great speech for inspiring people.

This is a warm and learning meeting.
