Shanghai Yu-Life Toastmasters Club Meetings #453

This is a hot Sunday. The sun becomes fire from the morning. We have over 20 people in our small meeting venue. The air is even hotter.

I, as the SAA, lead the traditional 1-yuan-and-5-jiao game. People still enjoy this kind of game very much.

Our acting President@Joker humorously introduced Toastmasters and Yu-Life club.

Our TMD@Maggie announces the first session: sharing from N4 director@Lesile. The topic is about financial freedom. Leslie vividly introduces how to move from E/S to I/B. The final words is invaluable: The purpose of life is not financial freedom, yet financial freedom allows us to find the purpose of life.

TTM @Peter asks questions about wine. Yes, the acoholic beverage. 7 people answer different questions with various emotion. I don't enjoy drinking, yet I find it can be a special tool for friendship.

TTE@Vikki makes her first evaluator role. She has done a wonderful job - makes each speaker and the TTM feel that they learn something.

Prepared speaker@Sophia delivers her first speech - Icebreaker. Her beautiful voice and elegant gestures make the speech fluently. Great performance for a first time speaker.

Our GE@Joker leads the diligent evaluation team:

Timer@Alice from SHNO.1: very standard timer's role - clear rule introduction, detailed summary. I find her English is super good.

Ah-Counter@Yolanda: great improvement in each meeting, strutured summary and useful tips in avoiding filler words - practice.

Grammarian@Sophia: choose a hard work of today - capricious, which makes each of us wondering how to use it. A careful note of the good usage and mistakes in many situations.
