Shanghai Yu-Life Toastmasters Club Meetings #456

The weather becomes cooler. We have many guests in the bookstore today.

Joker, act as our SAA. As one of our SAA project members, Joker brings another good warm up game. His game not only helps us relaxed, but also helps us get our muscles ready for speaking. This is a game we can do in a group and can do on our own.

Our acting President@Peter Yu once again introduces the history of TI and Yu-Life using years and numbers. At last, he humorously announces the opening of our 456th meeting.

Susie is the TMD. I remember this is her first time as the TMD. Actually, she performs very well on the stage. She is very versatile in introducing the speakers and transferring the stage to the speakers. Her summary after each speaker is very well and educational. She is a talented TMD.

TTM @Lisa leads the Table Topics session. She of course has her stories about summer holiday - her questions are very real and logic. 8 people bravely get onto the stage and speak out their answers to question. Very successful Table Topics session.

TTE@Peter has many good ideas on each speaker and the TTM. He accurately gets the shining point. His skills of encouraging people are very mature and effective. Giving 9 people evaluation is not easy, I hope Peter can learn more about time control in the TTE session.

We have two Prepared speakers: Peter - L5, Joker - L3. Their speeches are very high level. Peter's speech is humorous and funny. He continuously makes the audience laugh. Joker's speech is a special type - chikchak. He uses slide to move his speech content, excellent skills.

IE@Yolanda and @Carol evaluate the speakers with passion. Yolanda knows how to raise the interest audience, and makes her evaluation connected with all the people. Carol can almost recite the speech vividly, this shows her concentration in the evaluation.

Our GE@xws leads the diligent evaluation team:

Timer@Alex: diligent working through the meeting, accurate report. Bravely ring the bell.

Ah-Counter@Yolanda: clear record of many kinds of filler words, encouraging audience practice.

Grammarian@Emma: many-time English teacher. She accurately catches many usage and encourage people a lot. Her correction of errors is good and sound. Her word of today is well-selected, and we learn something really.

Our VPPR@Carol once again sponsors a very cute toy - dinosaur as the best Table Topics speaker trophy. The winner is @Vikki - a vivid speech for her success Pathways Icebreaker this summer.
