Shanghai Yu-Life Toastmasters Club Meetings #484

This a meeting with a panel discussion and without a Table Topics.

We have many new guests coming. How exciting!

Our SAA @Jason brings a new game. It is about digit and number. 10 people are assigned digits from 0 to 9. Jason shows a number of a few digits, and people must line up according to the number and their digits. It can be challenging for so many people. Of course, we have enough meeting attendees.

Joker leads the Panel discussion. We are very honored to have @Sherry @Peter as Contest Finalists and me as attendee. The discussion is about contest experience and thoughts. The great thing is that through the contests we all gain greater confidence and personal growth.

Today we have three prepared speeches: one from @Jasmine, one from @Maggie, and one from @Cicy. The speeches are all very well prepared and with distinguished contents. Jasmine is talking about the general social effect around us. Maggie is discussing how to live a happier life. Cicy is telling some personal stories in her running in the darkness experience.

IE 1: Peter - always be the humorous one on the stage. His evaluation is full of self-blaming.

IE 2: Lisa - is connecting the evaluation with the speech purpose, which is important for the Pathways project.

IE 3: Vikki - has some very good observation in pointing out the shining moments in Cicy's great speech.

The meeting role team:

@Lisa as TMD: She becomes very good at moving the agenda.

@Emily as Timer: First time timer, while she has done a great job.

@Adam as Ah-Counter: He is very serious about this first time meeting role. In fact, he has done a wonderful job in announcing the rules and delivering the report.

@Carol as Grammarian: She takes this role in emergence, and chooses a good word of the day: adorable.
