Shanghai Yu-Life Toastmasters Club Meetings #488

This a typical rainy Sunday in Shanghai. We have a club speech Marathon this time.

Lisa, Lanlan and I meeting at the gate. We are very excited about the meeting.

SAA@Jasime brings a word game for all of us - animals in alphabet.

President@Maggie shows a world champion video specially made for our club from the 2015 world public speech champion - Mohammed Qahtani. He inspires us to speak up for a better world.

The speech marathon has 7 speeches for various Pathways levels. I can see that every club members are trying their best to do the job, no matter it is an Icebreaker, or Level 5 project. I see someday, you will be grateful to yourself about this experience.

The tune of IE teams are very positive and supportive. Each encourages the speakers using concrete examples and demonstrates their own way to do the speech better.

The General evaluation team is led by Wu Zhong and the Timer is Sophia SU. They both have done an excellent due dilligent job. Sophia goes by the book, and controls the time right. She even rings the bell 2 twice. Wu Zhong gives his 10-year insight for how to perform in a Toastmasters stage, and how this help people in their daily life and work.
